It has been a complex process, taking into account legal and cultural considerations in all the regions in which Sony operates, as well as traditional differences between companies in the Sony group. 


Main objectives of this huge transformation project were: 



  • Standardize and align Sony’s global HR processes
  • Re-define the HR organization to contribute more to the business results

  • Implement a common HR information system that could help to deliver above points and reduce the overall IS cost
